Hi, I’m Christian! I’m a research professional from Fort Worth, Texas. I have expertise in program evaluation, design, performance measurement, and organizational strategy with a background in social work and economic development. I’m currently in the middle of my transition from social services into wildlife conservation. Since I was a little girl, I’ve been fascinated by wolves. (Just ask my parents!) Over the years, my fascination has grown to where I found myself reading recovery plans, following conservation nonprofits, reading books on wolf pack lineage, and attending webinars hosted by biologists in the field.
After years of informal research, I’ve decided to finally take a leap and join an internship program at Wolf Park in Indiana. And no I’ve never been here before! Thankfully I’m fairly adventurous and have a wild at hear spirit that gives me enough courage to try new things. In Indiana, I’ll gain hands-on experience and be immersed in wolf behavior, animal care, and wildlife conservation education. This website will act as my field journal, capturing regular observations, reflections, and photos during my internship.

Everything will be a little new. And it’s my goal to provide an authentic glimpse into life at Wolf Park and my path toward a career in wolf conservation and human-wildlife coexistence.
